Who signs the RSS-102 DoC Certificate, the applicant or the Laboratory that tested?
• The equipment certification test report shall contain a declaration, duly signed by the individual who signed the equipment certification application attesting that the radio device has been evaluated and found to comply with the RF exposure limits for humans, as specified in Health Canada’s Safety Code 6 and reproduced in this RSS. The declaration shall clearly indicate any assumptions used in the SAR evaluation concerning user-control parameters, such as the duty cycle for push-to-talk radios, the separation distance for mobile radios, etc. A signed Declaration of Compliance to SAR limits shall accompany the application for equipment certification. The declaration shall also indicate such information as the type of user intended (controlled or uncontrolled), and the assumptions on user-controlled parameters used in the SAR evaluation.
