The Vice-Chancellor for Research is NCSU’s representative authorized on behalf of the university. The Office of Legal Affairs and OTT staff provide reviews to ensure compliance with university policies.

Only authorized officers of UT Southwestern and UT System may sign or “execute” a license agreement. Typically, each license is executed by John A. Roan, Executive Vice President for Business Affairs, on behalf of the UT System Board of Regents. In addition, a representative of the UT System Office of General Counsel will also execute the agreement to approve the form of the agreement.
