Who shouldn’t eat raw?
Though raw foodists are passionate in their beliefs regarding the health benefits of eating raw, some in the medical community find the diet low in protein and calories, which may be particularly harmful to children. Older folks at risk for osteoperosis should also monitor the diet closely to make sure they’re getting enough calcium. For these reasons and nutrients only found in some foods that require cooking for safety, the Biblical prescription of “balance” makes sense for most people on an on-going basis.
