Who should write the letter of recommendation required to apply for a VWCC Educational Foundation scholarship?
Recommendations are an important part of the award process, so choosing who should write your recommendations needs your careful consideration. Letters of recommendation must be submitted by the individuals who are recommending you to the Educational Foundation office 4:00 p.m., May 26, 2006 in order to complete your application packet. One recommendation statement should be completed by a Virginia Western instructor and one recommendation statement should be completed by an individual outside of Virginia Western. Be sure to ask the Virginia Western instructor to write your recommendation before classes end on April 29. If you have never attended Virginia Western, you may request two individuals outside of Virginia Western to complete the statements. Please do not use statements from relatives.
