Who Should Use Adobe InDesign?

========================================= I wouldn’t recommend InDesign for home users that want to create simple newsletters for their local scout troop. The expense just wouldn’t justify it. However, businesses that send out newsletters, create brochures, and flyers, it would be a good software program to use. Especially if you already use PhotoShop to work with your pictures, or Illustrator to create your own designs and logos. ========================================= The Cost! ========================================= Adobe InDesign by itself is $699 at the Adobe webstore. However, if you are planning on getting this, I would highly recommend splurging a little and getting their design package. For just $300 more you also get the full versions of InDesign 1.5; Photoshop 6.0, Illustrator 9.0, and Acrobat 5.0. If bought separately, they would cost $1,956. So save yourself $957 by getting the whole package.
