Who should the KC Chiefs hire as coach?
Mike Shanahan is the obvious job but he might want to take the year off. Jon Gruden is also available but I don’t think he is the right fit. Most of the highly sought coordinators have already gotten a job. The guy for the job I think is Kirk Ferenz with Iowa, but he does not appear to be interested. They are looking at the offensive coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals. Personally I think you make a serious run at Shanahan. You don’t need to retread guys who have already been head coaches before. The Chiefs are a long ways from being competitive, you need a younger guy to coach them.
