Do not use AEROSPAN Inhalation Aerosol if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. The active ingredient is flunisolide hemihydrate. The inactive ingredients are ethanol and Tetrafluoroethane. When should you not use AEROSPAN Inhalation Aerosol? AEROSPAN Inhalation Aerosol does not help sudden breathing problems (wheezing). Do not use AEROSPAN Inhalation Aerosol for relief of a severe asthma attack. A short-acting bronchodilator, such as albuterol inhaler, should be used for immediate relief during an acute asthma attack. Contact your doctor if: • an asthma attack does not respond to the immediate relief medicine. • you require more of immediate relief medicine than usual.
