Who should learn about Career Pathways?
Career Pathways are for ALL STUDENTS. By selecting a career pathway, students can prepare for the future, regardless of their interests, abilities, talents, or desired level of education. All pathways have equal dignity. How can choosing a Career Pathway help students? Deciding on a career pathway can help a student prepare for the future. The intent is not to decide on a specific occupation, but to select a career pathway in which one can begin directing his or her energies. Identifying a career pathway can help in selecting school courses, activities, and part-time employment as well as work-based learning opportunities. The Mohave Tech Prep Consortium has produced the Career Pathways Inventory as a simple tool to help students identify their Career Pathway(s) of interest.
