Who should keep track of a Tufts Health Plan member’s benefit?
Members and providers share the responsibility to monitor the number of visits used. To track visits accurately, we recommend that you ask Tufts Health Plan members if they are in treatment with other providers. Please note that authorizations do not override a member’s benefit limit. The number of visits reimbursed cannot be greater than the number of sessions covered in a member’s benefit.
