The Department of Fire Services (DFS), located in Stow. through your local fire department, regulates the installation, maintenance and removal of underground tanks. MassDEP becomes involved only in the event of a leak that results in soil or groundwater contamination. To contact DFS/UST Program please call 978-567-3300.
