All government employees and pensioners are required to have a GSIS e-Card Plus. The GSIS e-Card Plus faciliates transactions with the Government Service Insurance System. With the said card, information about your membership and loan status are made available easily to you. According to the GSIS website, the e-Card Plus serves as your GSIS ID, a GSIS transaction card, a disbursement card, and an ATM card. It is an all-in-one card which serves as a hospitalization discount card, a tuition discount card with STI, and a Pfizer medicine discount card.
