Chris Barraclough Hon F IDM began his copywriting career at Smith Bundy in 1984 before becoming Creative Director of DDM Advertising in 1987. In 1991 Chris became one of the founding partners of Barraclough Hall Woolston Gray (later Proximity London) and in 1999 was appointed Chairman. In 2003 he branched out again to set up a new creative agency, BEC London. Throughout his career he has won UK and international awards for his work including Volkswagen, BT, Alliance & Leicester, British Airways and others. Today at BEC London he works on clients such as Air France KLM, BHF, Motability, Nectar and UIA Insurance. Chris is an entertaining and opinionated blogger for Marketing Direct and speaks for the IDM Diploma in Direct and Interactive Marketing qualification.
