Who should apply for PAC?
Any Maryland resident age 19 and over, who is not on Medicaid or Medicare, and whose income is no more than 116% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and whose assets are no more than $4,000 may be eligible. For a family of two or more, income must be no more than 100% FPL and assets must be no more than $6,000. There may be various deductions on household income, so if an individual’s income is slightly higher they should still apply. They do not need to have a qualifying medical condition or high pharmacy costs to qualify.
