Who should answer the questionnaires?
The Institutional Coordinator (IC) is responsible for raising the awareness of the impending data collection effort, sending the questionnaires to the right place, and collecting them before transmittal to the NRC. We will provide as much data as possible. We will pre-populate the Faculty lists with biographical data and committee assignments. Deans and Programs will be asked to verify and supply “field” data. We will also complete the Institutional Questionnaire and pre-populate most of the Program Questionnaires centrally. The Faculty Questionnaire will be populated with the program name, etc. from information submitted to the NRC, which will distribute them, with passwords, to the faculty members. The Student Questionnaire will also be sent by the NRC to a list of advanced doctoral students supplied to the NRC by the Institutional Coordinator.
