A three member Board of Supervisors governs the SJID. Members are elected to staggered three year terms by the landowners within the taxed area of the SJID. The Board of Supervisors hold quarterly meetings, the first month of the calendar year quarter, (January-April-July-October). An annual meeting of the landowners is also held. These meetings are open to the landowners within the SJID. Please contact the Administrator if you wish to be included on the agenda. 5. How is the per acre tax assessment determined at the SJID. Each year the SJID Administrator prepares a line-item budget for consideration and approval by the Board of Supervisors at the annual landowners meeting.
