Who sets the campaign goal?
Volunteers from the community who serve on the Executive Committee of the United Way of Galveston set the goal, based on needs expressed by our member s, the general economic conditions of the community, and the success of the prior year’s campaign. When member budgets are submitted, all items in the budget are carefully reviewed by the Allocations Committee to make certain the money is needed.
