Who serves on the Committee managing the CWT program?
A CWT Program Committee made up of: 1) the NMPF Board of Directors; 2) a representative from each participating cooperative that is not a member of NMPF; 3) and regional representatives for individual producer members of CWT. This Program Committee directs the CWT’s activities. As an entity operating within the current structure of NMPF, CWT is, in effect, a federation of cooperatives and producers acting in association for the specific purpose of achieving strong and stable milk prices. More importantly, such an operating structure keeps administrative costs and direct program (operational) costs to an absolute minimum.
