Who sent me a video and how can it be viewed safely?
Unfortunately, it’s impossible to determine with certainty who sent a video (nothing can guarantee the identity of the sender even if there was a mandatory field in this respect). We are aware of the possibility of malicious activity being channelled through invalid video notifications. As a cautionary measure, we’d like to advise you of the following: • Simply opening an email should not be cause for concern. Following links embedded in the email is where you should be cautious. • If you are at all suspicious that the email is fraudulent, don’t open it; if you do open it, don’t click on any links in it. • The individual sending the video should always be identifiable, such as by the subject line of the email itself. If you don’t recognize the sender, be cautious. Be especially cautious of more generic subject lines. What you can do to protect yourself from fraudulent video emails moving forward: • If you feel that you’ve received a fraudulent video email claiming to be from PNP, pleas
