Who Says Multiple Personalities (MPD) Are Bad?
Our country is driven by the insurance and drug industry. Mental health labels are easily attached to people who struggle with any type of behavior and/or emotional instability that does not conform to the mental health criteria of the U.S. Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (the psychiatric and mental health bible). Resulting medication and ineffective treatment leaves millions of people and children imprisoned by such labels, labels that often result in enslavement to long term ineffective treatment and a less than acceptable lifestyle. The so-called Multiple Personalty Disorder (now called Dissociative Identity Disorder) as a mental health specialty gained broad acceptance during the 1970’s and 80’s. Continual controversy within the mental health field still revolves around the existence of MPD. Today it is estimated that untold thousands, perhaps even millions of people and children, struggle to make sense of lives that have become highly fragmented, emotionally unstable, and self-d
