Who said counting calories was boring?
WHY DRIVE IT WHEN YOU CAN DRAG IT (PHOTO: TOFSLIE) Janet Cromley, over at the LATimes, has just written up a great account of burning calories, and the arcane art of tallying it in “You’re burning calories right now.” Some things you’ll learn and laugh about. The calories burnt per hour for a 150 pound person: • Cleaning out an illegal dump site: 450 calories • Painting over graffiti: 342 • Digging worms: 272 • Firefighting: 816 • Washing the dog: 238 Next up to count is deer dragging, cause apparently it’s a very popular past time in the woodlands of Wisconsin.
