Who reviews the students work?
Laurel Springs teachers are eager to communicate with both students and parents. Parents should help put students’ textbook work in an orderly manner before sending it to the teacher. All math work should be corrected and all other work should be reviewed by the parent or a tutor. It is important for the child to receive initial feedback and have the chance to make corrections while the work is still fresh in his mind. Parents should review online lessons with their child and set a schedule to make sure lessons are completed. Your teachers review student work and return assignments and answer letters within a one-week period with a personal note. They also maintain records of the student’s progress in each subject area at our online interactive gradebook and in addition our teachers are available to families via letters, email or by phone if further help is needed.
