The IRC meets monthly to review disclosures of financial interests to determine whether these interests constitute significant conflicts of interest that must be eliminated, reduced, or managed before research support can be accepted. If the IRC determines that the research support may be accepted, they then also recommend to the Chancellor appropriate strategies for the management of any significant conflict.
