George Distel (D) 5th District (Ashtabula) Ranking Minority Member; Former Ashtabula Co. Commissioner; Conneaut City Council; Council president; Is 48 years old; married (Dale A. Bd.; Citizens Advisory Com. OSU Ohio Seagrant. I recently called Mr. Distel about my winery situation and he called me back the same day. He said he will investigate Ohio Revised Code 519.21(A) as it relates to wineries and township authority. That is what a representative should do. We will see how the follow-up goes. Democrat or Republican, it boils down to who can do the job effectively! Unfortunately he never did get back to me….lip service as usual.
