Who qualifies for the Start-Up Program?
Any individual or company with less than $1 million in revenues during the 12 months before signing up to the program can qualify. We review the applications and reserve the right to reject any application for any reason. Please note that if you decide to use GigaSpaces with EC2, or any other GigaSpaces’ cloud/pay-per-use/utility offering, you will have to pay for the GigaSpaces EC2 license, even if you are a start up. You are still eligible for the startup license, but only for your “on premises” servers. Basically, GigaSpaces offers start-ups with two options (or a combination of them): 1. Free licenses on dedicated servers 2. Pay per usage license on cloud environments. Note that if you are a consultant applying for your customer, you will not be accepted to the program. Your customer should be applying. Universities willing to use GigaSpaces can usually apply to the Academic program. If your company has a parent company which has revenues of more than $1 million, you do not qualify
