Who qualifies as the supervisor and what are the responsibilities of the supervisor?
The supervisor is usually a guidance counselor, teacher, etc. and may NOT be a relative of the student. Sometimes a parent can be a supervisor as long as the high school gives written approval. The supervisor’s duties are to keep the student on track, send high school independent learning lessons to the instructor, and to be the proctor for the high school independent learning exams.
