Who puts up the new road name sign?
During the rural addressing project the County will be responsible for installing road signs. The ambulance has been to my house before they didnt have any trouble locating me. You are assuming that you will be the only one calling 911 from your residence in the event of an emergency. What happens when you are gone and the babysitter is there and there is an emergency and she doesnt know the address? As soon as the call comes into dispatch, they will know where it is coming from. How about when Aunt Bea comes to visit and you go to the grocery store and she starts a fire on the stove. She calls 911, but has no idea what the address is at the house. As soon as that call comes into dispatch, a fire truck can be sent to that location. There are many scenarios that can be played out. You cant assume that you will be the only one to ever make a call to 911 from your house and that everyone who comes to your house will know your address.
