Who purchases and owns cremation equipment?
Most cremation equipment is associated with another ongoing business such as a funeral home, cemetery, burial vault company, or cremation society. Most of these are small businesses which are privately owned. Many actually operate as not-for-profit businesses. Large public funeral companies also own and operate many crematories throughout North America.
