Who provides training on the resources available on the Clinicians Health Channel?

0

Introductory training is provided on behalf of the Department of Human Services by the database vendor Health Communication Network. Their trainer is responsible for coordinating sessions in consultation with librarians and key medical and nursing educators in the hospital environment. This would include provision of a suitable facility for computer education, assessing the clinicians’ needs of the training session and supply procedural documentation. The trainer is competent in all knowledge resources supplied by Health Communication Network. Training can be supplied to multidisciplinary groups or to specific disciplines. The Clinicians Health Channel Project Officers are also available to support occasional training requests that the Training Coordinator cannot meet.
