WHO PROVIDES THE WELFARE FUND COVERAGES?
The YCT Welfare Fund is a self‑insured and self‑administered fund. It is operated by a Board of Trustees, made up of district employees appointed by the president of the union. The day to day operation of the Fund is handled by a CLAIMS ADMINISTRATOR, housed in the district in the Fund office in French Hill, and employed by the Fund. All claims are processed, paid and recorded by the claims administrator. Because of this in‑house administration, we can usually receive, process and pay claims within days, and sometimes less.
