Each tenant provides is own padlock and keeps the key. We will keep duplicate keys it the tenant requests it. As a convenience, The Extra Closet Self Storage keeps padlocks in inventory for customers to purchase. The Extra Closet Self Storage recommends that Tenants use Disc locks for U-pack “Portable Storage units” and Garage Storage units. Their shape makes it near impossible to cut with a bolt cutter and they are designed for tough situations.
