Who provides the kosher meals for Continental Airlines?
SkyChefs and Gate Gourmet are just two of the companies that Continental Airlines use for their meals. They provide both the Kosher and normal meals for the airlines. SkyChefs and Gate Gourmet are the two most widely recognized airline catering services in the world. Between them, they handle almost all of the major US Airlines that serves meals on their planes. Plus both companies have warehouses where they prep the foods daily on almost all major airports served by their clients. For the airports they are not at, the planes are stocked with extra food for the flight before it leaves an airport where it is serviced. Both companies cook kosher and non-kosher food. Some international cities not served by any of these companies may be served by smaller companies such as: Servair, SATS Catering, and Dnata. In these situations, the arilines will make contracts with them.
