Who produces the festival and why?
The 5th Annual GAIF is produced by the Great American Irish Festival, Inc., a non-profit organization comprised solely of volunteers (approximately 700 this year) whose goal is to establish the Irish Cultural Center of the Mohawk Valley. Proceeds from the event will be dedicated to obtaining this goal, hopefully in the very near future. We also think that an international caliber festival in the middle of the summer in Central NY is a fabulous idea!
