Who prefers the old yahoo finance?
Sorry but mainly it is you. Even on the old page we had two separate buttons or boxes to put information. You say “You type in the partial stock name”. OOPS! You are trying to type in a company name in the “get quote” box. That field ONLY wants stock symbols. On the page I use (market overview) if you look on the right there is a link for “Free stock market symbol lookup”. That is the one you want for looking up symbols using a partial company name.
