Who practiced Hoodoo?
Slaves from Africa, Appalachian Mountain Folks, and Native Americans, most if not all of Hoodoo practices come from these folks. Who do the Hoodoo Do? Hoodoo is a magick of the repressed and oppressed. It is in simplest terms a way to gain control over your in-slaver. This could be the slave owner, slave overseer, husband, wife, lover or any type of enemy. What is the magick used for? Everything that no one has control over in daily life, bills, money, sex, love, power, birth and death. Does Hoodoo have ethics?
