Who plays in tournaments?
Only Fast Pitch teams will play in a tournament. Tournaments teams representing Media Softball will generally be assembled prior to the season with the intention of playing in tournaments. Tryouts for these teams are usually held in December. • What will my daughter miss at school? No Media Softball games are played during school hours. There may be conflicts with after school activities. The Slow Pitch schedule is made up with many of these activities in mind. Conflicts with Fast Pitch games are more likely. For both Slow Pitch and Fast Pitch players, it is very important to let the team coach know if a player cannot attend a practice or game. • What can I do to help? There is a lot adults can do to help Media Softball. You can coach or help coach a team. Or you could sponsor a team. Or you could may be able to use your professional skills to help us.
