Who plays All-Stars and how are they selected?
Divisions U10 through U14 play in the Area 11L All-Star tournament in January. At the end of the Fall Season, each Coach nominates 3-5 players from his/her team. At the direction of the Regional Board, each All-Star Coach must select at least one or two players from the nonimation list from each team in each division (dependent on the number of teams in each division). The remaining players to be selected to make up the complete player roster may be selected from any team in that division. The players selected are determined by the All-Star Coach based on his/her opinion on which players will constitute an acceptably competitive team.
