On your first appointment regarding implants you should expect to meet our oral surgeon Dr. Esteban Ramirez and Dr. Billy Bartell Jr. and discuss your case. Study model impressions will be taken of your mouth in order to better evaluate your case. Also, a panoramic x-ray will need to be performed on you to see several structures that may or may not interfere with the implant process. They include the position of your sinus, nerves and arteries that run along your jawbone. We do not want implants to damage any of these areas.. This is the reason for the panoramic x-ray. It is done at a local x-ray diagnostic center and we provide transportation. An example of a panoramic x-ray is shown immediately below. Panoramic X-ray = $30dlls.
