Who picks up the trash that is illegally dumped?
A By franchise agreement, the trash haulers are required to pick up illegally dumped refuse (the size of a trash bag or more) along the right of way of County roads (roads offered to the County and accepted for vesting title, whether they have been accepted for County maintenance or not). If you see any refuse along the side of the road, please call the Department of Environmental Health at (951) 955-8982, so that they can notify the correct hauler.
