Who Pays for LiveScan fingerprinting?
The agency that has requested that you be fingerprinted may have provided an account number to charge these fees to. Look on the application form for a block called “Agency Billing Number”. If this block is blank or says “fees paid by applicant”, then you will need to pay. Often the employer will pay the LiveScan fees for a prospective employee. If this is the case, they will have put a six-digit account number in the block entitled “Agency Billing Number”. It is suggested that you clarify the payment of the fees with your employer before you come to your appointment.
