Who pays for getting free books to children in need?
Site sponsors purchase these small ads on the Thank You page for a certain amount of time. The Literacy Site then tabulates the number of people who click during that time frame and bill the sponsor for the appropriate amount. The Literacy Site then gives the funding to First Book and Room to Read, who distribute the free books to programs serving children in need.
