Who paid for the Vandals AD to switch his flight?
While reading in the Nov. 12 paper about the U of I athletic director not wanting to fly on the plane that had the BSU logo on it, my first thought was that this is a cute little story about a long-running rivalry. My next thought quickly turned to who was responsible for the cost of canceling the flight and the additional travel needed to complete this journey, all in the name of making a statement? If the money came out of his own pocket, I would respect this move greatly. But if it came out of the school budget, his statement is not so funny and may not have been worth the cost. Any follow-up on this situation would be appreciated.
