Who paid for the grinder pumps?
A. The use of grinder pumps reduced the project cost by millions of dollars. Their proper functioning is critical to the overall efficiency of the system. Therefore the decision was made that they should be owned, operated and installed by the POW Association. In addition, they are an inconvenience to the property owner who will pay for the electricity to operate them and provide an easement to POW for access. In consideration for these points POW will pay for the grinder pump, installation and will maintain them. The property owner will pay for the cost of connection, up to a maximum of $8,000.
