Who owns the land on which the trees are planted?
Landowners who subport the aims of the Carbon Consultancy and are prepared to commit land for tree planting subject to agreements to protect their future, own the land. The Carbon Consultancy does buy land for plantings on behalf or corporate clients. The aim of the Carbon Consultancy is to reduce atmospheric carbon, not to create a land bank, and it therefore uses partnerships as a cost effective and environmentally sound solution for reforestation.
