Who owns the intellectual property published on the DEMRI Portal Web site?
Prior to making any course materials publicly available, DEMRI Portal team has reviewed all material extensively to determine the correct ownership of the material and obtain the appropriate licenses to make the material openly available on the Web. We will promptly remove any material that is determined to be infringing on the rights of others. If you believe that a portion of DEMRI Portal materials infringes another’s copyright, please notify the Administrator. The intellectual property policies created for DEMRI Portal are clear and consistent with other policies for scholarly materials used in education. Users retain ownership of most materials published for the DEMRI Portal, following the DEMRI policy of Attribution. The DEMRI retains ownership only when significant use has been made of the Institute’s resources. If a users work is placed on the DEMRI Portal site, then copyright in the work remains with the user unless otherwise specified by the contributor. Top 23.
