Who owns the Home Information Pack?
From the HIP provider’s point of view, whoever actually pays for the HIP (e.g. you, your estate agent, solicitor etc) will be considered the owner. From your point of view and from the outset it is important to establish with any third party (solicitor, estate agent etc) even though they may have instructed and paid for the HIP on your behalf , that you have sole ownership over it.
