Who owns the copyright to the work I create with GetPlotted?
You do. Copyright law is very simple. As soon as you put words down either electronically or on paper you own the rights. In fact, when you ‘preview’ your work, you will notice the automatic copyright message at the foot of the page naming YOU as the owner. Each GetPlotted member has their own unique login to our webservers, so as long as you keep your password safe, your work should be secret (until you decide to publish it!). We do recommend you back up your work regularly on your local computer.
