Authors retain the copyright for articles in journals hosted by the OHA. Editors can choose which Creative Commons license they wish to use. However, we strongly encourage the Creative Commons ShareAlike which allows anyone to alter, transform, or build upon a work, but the resulting work may only be distributed under the same, similar or a compatible license.
