Who owns the businesses/factories in a communist or command economy?
The government “owns” it all, but it is the few in power who control everything as opposed to the millions of shareholders who own the businesses in a capitalist economy. Communism concentrates power in the hands of ever-fewer people, and they get rich while everyone else gets poorer, more powerless, and has ever-fewer chances of managing their own lives and incomes.
