Who owns KEET-TV?
KEET-TV is a community licensed public television station. In essence, that means KEET-TV is owned by the community and supported by the community through membership contributions. Many other public television stations are state licensed or university licensed which ensures that they receive a certain percentage of their budgets through local or state tax monies. At this time, the State of California does not financially support any public broadcasting station.
