Ownership of the aerodrome is split between SEEDA and the First Secretary of State, on behalf of the Department for Transport. The central portion, including the runways, is leased to Hampshire Police Authority. Portsmouth Naval Gliding Club have a license to operate from the airfield until the end of 2008.
